CoD MW3 Lan ETS rules
1. Participant Criteria
1.1 Player Eligibility
All participants must be at least 18 years old.
Players must use appropriate and non-offensive names during the competition. The administration reserves the right to change any player's tag, handle, or name at its discretion.
Offensive or inappropriate names will result in disqualification.
2. Competition Guidelines
2.1 Match Setup
The tournament will follow a double-elimination format with winner and loser brackets.
Each round will be a Best of 5, except for the grand finals, which will be a Best of 7.
Warm-up games are prohibited once the match's first game has started.
Matches must begin on time unless an official grants approval for a delay.
2.2 Gameplay Conduct
In case of lag, complete the game and provide video proof afterward; leaving early may result in a forfeit.
If a player disconnects within the first 30 seconds or before the first kill, restart the game. If it occurs after, continue and rejoin, as leaving may lead to a forfeit.
Leaving the map boundaries will result in a forfeit.
Changing teams during a game is prohibited and may result in a forfeit.
Minor bugs should be played through; major bugs will prompt a restart.
Issues requiring restarts will reset the game mode type.
2.3 Match Results and Reporting
Tied games must be replayed before proceeding to the next game.
Winners will be determined by the scoreboard.
Players have a 15-minute grace period for no-shows after the scheduled time.
Match results must be reported within 10 minutes of completion.
Players can request to concede victory or avoid a forfeit penalty.
2.4 Conduct and Professionalism
Players must uphold integrity, sportsmanship, and professionalism. Obscene or offensive language or gestures are prohibited.
Differences should be resolved respectfully without resorting to violence.
Players must arrive on time and ready to compete. Forfeiting without a valid reason is not allowed.
2.5 Game Modes
Game Mode: Team Deathmatch (1v1) // Gunfight (tiebreaker)
3. Fair Play and Conduct
3.1 Integrity and Honesty
Competitors must maintain honesty and integrity, avoiding any actions that could unfairly influence match outcomes.
Adherence to Activision's Software License Agreement is mandatory to preserve the integrity of the tournament.
3.2 Cheating
Cheating includes collusion, match-fixing, DDoS attacks, unauthorized account usage, and exploiting game bugs.
3.3 Prohibited Actions
Prohibited actions encompass illegal and harmful behaviors such as violence, harassment, and other illegal activities.
3.4 Administration's Authority
Details regarding prize awards and compliance requirements for winners will be provided by the administration, which will monitor compliance and impose penalties for violations.
The contest may be canceled due to technical issues or interference, with all intellectual property rights reserved by Activision and its affiliates.
