Rules

Registration confirmation

The Blizzard account (name#number) given during registration must be the same as the one that you will be competing with.

Tournament format

The tournament is divided in two parts. The first one will be a round robin split in multiple groups. Each team will face every other team in their group. For the second part, both teams who had the most wins will qualify for the official bracket to have a chance to get the grand prize.

Section one

The team will be assembled into groups. Each team of each group will have to face the other teams from their group. Every faceoff will be decided in a best of one. The two teams who had the most wins in each group will participate in the second part of the tournament. The map choice will be predetermined by a rotation chosen by the tournament's administrators.

Section two

In the second section the teams are placed in the official bracket of the tournament. Each faceoff between the teams are going to be best of 3 and the maps will be determined through a pick and ban system from owdraft.com. Start the game as soon as possible when both teams are ready. The tournament admins have the right to edit the team order without further notice before the beginning of the tourney.

Finals

The final match and the 2nd section of the tournament will be decided by double elimination. This implies that if a team loses a game, they go into a loser bracket. The winner of the loser bracket will face the winner of the regular bracket. For the final, the winner of the regular bracket starts with one more win. (The winner of the losing bracket needs 3 out of 5, the other team only needs 2).

Rules

  • Control maps (Ilios, Lijiang Tower, Nepal or Oasis) will have to be in 5 rounds (competitive mode).
  • If the score is even at the end of a game, the team who gets the first capture point in a control map (1-0) gets the victory.
  • A player cannot play for more than one team in the tournament. A substitute player that plays for the team is allowed.
  • The spectators are allowed as long as both teams agree. This rule doesn’t apply to the administrators of the tournament and/or the shout casters of the official LAN ETS stream.
  • If a player disconnects from the game in the first 30 seconds or before the first kill, you will be allowed to restart.
  • For any reason approved (Disconnecting, lag, hardware problems), each team will have 15 minutes of pausing. Both teams will have to do a ready check in the chat before resuming the game. If one team isn’t ready after 15 minutes, the game will have to resume even if the problem persists. Strategic pauses aren’t allowed.
  • If 3 teams have the same amount of victory in the group stage, the number of points won in the matches played will break the tie.

Claim a victory

When you win, you need to inform the administrators of the tournament of the results of the games(Victory or Defeat), as well as the score. You will do so by going to the administrators table. A screenshot will have to be taken by the winning team at the end of a game as proof in case of a contradiction when both teams tell their scores.
